Prof. Emin Onat, who is predominantly known in Republican era architectural history as the architect of Anıtkabir alongside Orhan Arda, but also designed many other significant structures, an exhibition titled \"Emin Onat: Founder and Architect\" was opened at the ITU Faculty of Architecture, where he played a pivotal role in its establishment and organization. The exhibition can be visited between December 25, 2008, and February 17, 2009, in the Onat Hall at ITU Taşkışla Campus. Emin Onat achieved an unforgettable status not only for the very important and enduring works he created in his short life but also for his great success in organizing architectural education and establishing teaching staff.
