In this context, I turned to Mozart's operas. His last opera, 'The Magic Flute', particularly caught my interest. I observed that the fundamental concepts forming the fabric of the story mirrored Mozart's personality. The characters in The Magic Flute are very different from each other. Most of these different characters are gathered within Mozart's personality. When I approached Mozart in this context, the starting point of my work became his stance on life and his understanding of humanity.

While studying 19th-century Italian composers, I discovered a fundamental commonality between Verdi and Mozart. Both perceived humans as living beings with flesh and soul, not isolated from their society, and expressed their personalities and relationships with each other through the language of music. I compared the fundamental concepts of The Magic Flute and Aida from this perspective. This comparison not only sheds light on the life perspectives of two great composers who lived in different eras and under different conditions but also reveals the societal changes that occurred at the end of the 18th century and throughout the 19th century.

<strike></strike>
