1+1 Studio Living Spaces

"Studio apartments", which have created a great stir in Europe and America, have become one of the urban spaces that have gained popularity in Turkey in recent years. Studio apartments not only show spatial change but also express the new forms that different social phenomena have acquired. This study, titled "1+1 Studio Lives", is not just an urban sociology study.

It aims to examine social change and urban life on the basis of new urban spaces and addresses the transformations in individuals' lives along with the processes of change. Another aim of this study, which contains social phenomena such as consumption, identity, family, and neighborhood, is to emphasize many sub-disciplines of sociology. This study examines the changes occurring in urban spaces in new world relations in the context of "living in studio apartments" and provides an urban spatial analysis of studio apartments based on the lives of individuals who prefer to live in studio apartments.
