20th Century Architecture

Architectural history is not an orderly parade. An architectural movement begins without waiting for the previous one to end. It doesn't stay where it started; it spreads, develops, changes, and transforms. Since the industrial revolution, it has freed its relationship with time and space. Although it sometimes takes on different guises, it has actually produced dazzling results from the tension and, to some extent, the fusion of two fundamental ideas.

Undoubtedly, there is still much to learn from these results. However, summarizing this is not easy. Therefore, as the author has not found a way to deliver the "final" word of this book, she invites her readers to the "20. Yüzyıl Mimarlığı Nazan Kırcı" Facebook group to collectively compose the epilogue.
