Encyclopedic Dictionary of Architecture - 24th Edition

First published in 1975, Doğan Hasol's Encyclopedic Dictionary of Architecture, a pioneering work in the establishment of a consistent architectural language in Turkey, has been made even more comprehensive with the addition of numerous entries and the expansion of many existing ones. As in previous editions, in this revised edition, the dictionary has been reorganized, incorporating new concepts, terms, and words that have emerged due to the evolving scale of architecture both globally and in Turkey. New explanatory drawings and photographs have been added to facilitate the understanding of the terms.

The Encyclopedic Dictionary of Architecture has a comprehensive and rich content, making it easily accessible not only to architects but also to those interested in architecture, art, and design, as well as professionals in related fields. For years, the dictionary has been one of the first books architecture students acquire upon entering university. The dictionary, consisting of approximately 10,000 entries, includes nearly 500 drawings and photographs to support the explanations.
