Boyut Collection Books brings readers the most comprehensive book on Aivazovsky, a shared treasure of the Turkish, Russian, and Armenian peoples.

Aivazovsky, born into poverty in Feodosia, Crimea, known as “Little Istanbul” during the Ottoman era, became the most recognized 19th-century Russian painter in the world. His exhibitions drew immense crowds and earned him widespread admiration.

Many of the works by Aivazovsky, known as the artist who most frequently depicted Istanbul and referred to as the “poet of sea paintings,” are published for the first time in this unique Collection Book.

Authored by Gianni Caffiero and Ivan Samerine, Aivazovsky experts from Sotheby's and Christie's auction houses, the book was published in a limited edition. This “iconic” 480-page work, with its 33x32.5 cm dimensions, special binding and box, and numbered personalized certificate, awaits its place in collectors' libraries.
