The book, which covers the historical period from the opening of the Interior Decoration Department at Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebi during the late Ottoman era to the establishment of the TMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects in 1976, features writings by Hande Atmaca, Gülnur Ballice, Efsun Ekenyazıcı Güney, Deniz Hasırcı, Deniz Avcı Hosanlı, Ebru Karabağ, Hande Tulum Okur, Selim Sertel Öztürk, Gökçeçiçek Savaşır, Melis Örnekoğlu Selçuk, Umut Şumnu, Güliz Öktem Taşdemir, and Zeynep Tuna Ultav, accompanied by drawings by Ahmet Aslan for each article.
