Saturday Gatherings: Altay Erol

We organized the Saturday Gatherings to enable architects to share their knowledge. In this context, we aimed to make these sharings permanent by filming the gatherings and transforming each presentation into a publication, in addition to a small exhibition accompanying the conferences. This publication, which we present as part of a new series, is the product of this effort.

We invited twelve colleagues to the conference series in one year. Our conference series, which began with Cengiz Bektaş in 2009, filled a void by bringing together architects from different generations. We were delighted to observe that the gatherings provided an environment for the transfer of experience and the sharing of different experiences.
