Different Perspectives on Universal Design

Beyond construction activities, architecture should actually be defined as a set of design techniques and, in its own right, an art form. In addition to meeting the basic needs of users, the importance of architecture, and therefore the architect's responsibility, cannot be denied in the context of human rights, which dictate that every individual has the right to benefit from every service under equal conditions and to access those conditions. Individuals need to live in well-being, health, and independence, without fear and in safety, in all living conditions, in the spaces they inhabit and wish to inhabit. Universal Design emerges as a phenomenon that can be achieved within the concept of architecture by addressing human diversity throughout the design process and not ignoring this diversity.
