Art and Experience Today

Today, Art and Experience brings together a series of articles written by Süreyyya Evren, following his pursuit of how the art experience can be genuinely questioned today, his articles published in various media, and his interpretations based on his direct experience with art. Starting with the question of whether the 'art' experience is possible in an art universe where the semiosphere is evolving faster every day, Evren explores possible answers to his questions and those of today's art audience by cold-heartedly visiting exhibitions and trying on different hats of experience.

Süreyyya Evren also contemplates the existence of interpretations, theories, knowledge, and even metadata surrounding today's art universe, and 'explains' his own interpretation in light of discussions on 'explanation' and 'historiography' in art.
