From Primitive Society to the Universe of Melodramas

The answer to the question of how melodramas have been able to captivate audiences worldwide for about a century can be sought and found not so much in modern societies, but rather in the social, mental, cultural, and human characteristics peculiar to primitive ones. Although this power of influence is partially related to story, actors, dialogue, music, direction, etc., the real question that needs an answer is this: What force draws the audience to the silver screen or television screens? Undoubtedly, there are some reasons for this. I believe we can find the reasons for this by following a line from primitive society to melodramas.
