Our Zoning Problems

In addition to an academic career spanning over 50 years, I served for nearly 26 years as a member and chairman of the high and regional boards for the protection of cultural and natural assets. As an architect, I worked on various projects. Throughout my academic and professional life, I dealt with the issues of urban planning and cultural heritage as a consultant and manager in public and private institutions. I always tried to express my views, both in writing and orally, in various publications regarding our country's urban planning and architectural problems. In this work, I have compiled a selection of my articles and interviews related to the institutional aspect of both conservation and urban planning issues. My aim is to help particularly the younger generations develop more societal and conscious approaches to urban planning issues.
