Product Description

Mistakes-Correct Practices in Construction Applications aims to convey to the reader how to perform correct practices by identifying application errors made at construction sites.

Firuzan Baytop examines examples of incorrect practices he identified during his international construction site experience spanning over 50 years, complete with photographs and concise explanations. After presenting the mistakes made, the book describes how to perform correct practices, again with photographs, making it an indispensable guide for practitioners. Through the book, which he prepared by drawing on the application experiences of various institutions and individuals in diverse building production processes in Turkey and abroad, Firuzan Baytop addresses his young colleagues in particular, saying: "Everyone can make mistakes. You will too. But the important thing is not to make those mistakes again (especially after seeing the pictures in this book). Accept your mistakes, try to do things correctly. Let's not forget that doing it right from the start is much cheaper than correcting it later." The brief explanations under the pictures in this book, regarding how to do things correctly, are detailed in the author's book titled "Things Not Taught in Schools in Construction Applications". Therefore, it is recommended to use both books together.
