Kemâl Kutgün Eyüpgiller

1962, Ankara. After graduating from Galatasaray High School (1981), he graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture (1986). He received his master's degree from Istanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, Restoration program (1988). He completed his doctorate (1995) at the same university. He received the titles of assistant professor in 1998, associate professor in 1999, and professor in 2009 at ITU. He worked as a visiting researcher in the Netherlands in the 1997-98 academic year and in England in 2001. Eyüpgiller, a specialist in single building restoration (architectural conservation) and urban conservation, has published 5 books and nearly 100 national and international articles and papers. Prof. Eyüpgiller has been serving as "Dean" at I.U. Faculty of Architecture since May 2018.

Yeşim Yaşa

1985, Aşkale. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture (2009) and Department of Interior Architecture (2010). She also received her master's degree from the Institute of Science and Technology, Restoration program, at the same university (2012). She prepared her thesis on 'Poyraz Castle' under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kutgün Eyüpgiller. She has been working as a freelance architect since 2013 at 'Restora Architecture Firm', of which she is a founding partner.
