Product Description
This text does not aim to convey information on architecture or planning in cities. However, like the majority of humanity, as someone who has spent their life in cities, it attempts to examine how urban life permeates our bodies, minds, and souls, how the city affects our relationships with both the environment and society as individuals, how the quality of urban life can be made equal for everyone, and the relationship between daily life and the city, which municipalities and planners often overlook. In this respect, the fact that in some sections it may seem to encroach upon the fields of planners, historians, and those who consider themselves authorized in urban developments, is because the city always addresses us as an indivisible whole, and all elements of cities affect us all at every moment. In most books written about the city, it is difficult to find topics such as air quality, sound, smell, light, nature, social relations, entertainment, sports, education, books, and art. But isn't it these kinds of features that determine the quality of life, rather than the speed at which cars drive on the streets? In this book, I have tried to bring such realities and why we love or dislike the city to the forefront in different sections.
