Product Description
Turkey's rapid integration with the world capitalist system after 1980 has inevitably made neo-liberal policies indispensable in every field. Neo-liberalism, with the 2000s, became the dominant understanding over proposed policies. Urban transformation practices have been areas where the centers of neo-liberal policies in urban space are clearly observed. As a result of these practices, the irregular distribution of resources is unequal and unfair, and the crises in the direction of the expansion of these negativities are increasing. For cities to develop healthily and regularly, it is inevitable to intervene in the present and future of human settlements in a planned way. In reality, most of the zoning plan changes have adopted the principle of creating and paying rent. The most disturbing examples of "crooked destruction practices" offered as a solution to urbanization are being implemented by TOKİ, which is authorized as a central institution in all countries. In transformation projects carried out in cooperation with some municipalities, the public and future generations have constantly suffered and are still suffering from the increased access sharing program of the urban atmosphere.
