Product Description

In the context of the continuity of national culture, the fact that rural housing incorporates every criterion we architects seek in space design makes it important to discuss it and to pass this design culture on to future generations. Considering migration and rapid urbanization, rural housing, which I believe forms the basis of housing culture, is currently undergoing a significant change compared to traditional housing culture. The inability of rural homes of users who migrate to cities to adapt to urban life; the transition to multi-story housing types such as apartments, residences, etc.; the appearance of the same spatial style in every region and every climate; and as a result of all these, the gradual disappearance of traces of national culture, have necessitated this study.

This study, which focuses on applying the Space Syntax Method to traditional rural houses located on the outskirts of cities, can help architects seeking new directions in urban housing design.
