Composite Steel Structures

This book, titled “Composite Steel Structures” and prepared by Civil Engineer Fatih Genç, details the collaborative work of concrete and flexible steel elements in building construction.
In the book, the properties of composite steel structures are described according to TS EN 1994-1-1. The examples are analyzed according to both TS EN 1994-1-1 and ÇYTHYE-2018. Thanks to the examples presented in these two different methods, the reader is offered the opportunity to compare. The formula numbers included in the standards are provided, and it is stated which standard they belong to.

The work, which is a useful resource especially for civil engineering and civil engineers, consists of detailed explanations divided into the following five main sections:

WHO IS FATİH GENÇ?
Born in Bursa in 1979, Fatih Genç completed his secondary education in Bursa in 1995. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from Yıldız Technical University in 2000. He received his master's degree from İstanbul Kültür University, Department of Structural Engineering. In 2002, the Sap 2000 Course was organized at the IMO Bursa Branch. He has been producing structural projects for over 20 years at FGS Engineering, a company established in Bursa in 2003. He has one article published in an international journal and two papers presented at symposiums. He is a member of the TSE Steel Structures Commission.
