I served for almost 26 years as a member and chairman of the Boards for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage. During this time, I undoubtedly signed various decisions. I made sure that the decisions I approved were, as far as I could manage, in accordance with the conservation law and principle decisions. Throughout my professional life, I expressed my views on conservation in newspapers, various books, and magazines. I also tried to highlight the significant problems in our country's conservation policy in various interviews.
In the present work, I have collected some of my articles and interviews on both conservation and urbanization. My aim is to help younger generations, in particular, develop more sensitive, more universal, and more appropriate approaches to conservation, tailored to the conditions of our country.
