Prof. Dr. Bülent Özer, whom we lost in recent years, is one of the distinguished figures who made their mark on the last 60 years due to his unique contributions to Turkish architectural and design education and his original perspective. A generation grew up and developed with Bülent Özer's teachings and ideas in architecture, design, and art education, which reached beyond his time.

For some time, the intense interest shown by readers to access Culture Art Architecture, a reference book in its field written by Prof. Dr. Bülent Özer, which was unavailable due to being out of print, necessitated its republication. Another purpose of reprinting the book is to introduce Bülent Özer's views and ideas to younger generations who did not have the chance to learn directly from him, so that they can benefit from his opinions, thoughts, observations, and criticisms.
