Product Description
There has not yet been a comprehensive examination of the architectural art of Anatolia during the Roman period, despite the intense building activity that took place. The publications of the Society of Dilettanti, one of the extensive studies conducted on Anatolia, only focus on large-scale structures. This deficiency persists today. However, new evidence brought to light by recent research necessitates such a study. Undoubtedly, a work of this scope is only possible with a combination of time and financial resources. In this work, the author, aiming to contribute to such an initiative that is hoped to develop in the future, starts from a specific region and makes some generalizations with previously unpublished examples and known ones.
