Berger’s entire oeuvre is an invitation to reimagine, to see in different ways. For Berger, writing has always been a “revolutionary” act. Landscapes, the sibling of Portraits, brings together texts that speak of the individuals – his comrades, one might say – who shaped Berger’s thought: Antal, Raphael, Brecht, Barthes, Benjamin. Alongside them are maps, paths, places, villages, towns, cities, historical times. In short, the things that form and constitute a “storyteller.”
