Mimar Kemaleddin Project Catalogue

The fact that the records of the materials in the Istanbul Directorate of Foundations Archives, which contain many original drawings of Kemalettin's structures, were kept manually, and thus the difficulties researchers faced in accessing the records, made it impossible to access Kemalettin's documents, as no systematic search could be carried out until now. Based on this problem, Prof. Dr. Afife Batur and her research team conducted a two-month inventory scan to reorganize the existing archives of the architect and document them digitally. As a result of the study, a complete list of Kemalettin Bey's structures and documents that might be related to the architect or his period was obtained. The projects on the list were combined with visual materials in the archive by Gül Cephanecigil, and a digital index was created. All compiled materials have been published in catalog format.
