Architect Kemalettin and His Era

The "Mimar Kemalettin and His Era: Architecture / Social Life / Politics" Symposium, which aimed to refresh our knowledge about Mimar Kemalettin and the architectural environment of his time, and to open up new sources of information on the subject, and was organized by Assoc. Dr. Ali Cengizkan, a faculty member at METU Department of Architecture, was held on December 7-8, 2007, in Ankara, at Gazi University Rectorate, Mimar Kemalettin Hall. The symposium served as a platform for gathering many expert opinions on the subject. The papers presented at the symposium have been compiled into a book.
