The "Mimar Sinan Research Center," established within Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the oldest institution in our country providing modern architectural and art education and which took the name "Mimar Sinan" during the process of higher education institutions becoming universities, has as its mission: to increase the international recognition of Turkish art and architecture, especially Mimar Sinan, who holds a very important place in Turkish architectural and art history, and to ensure he achieves his rightful place within world architectural and art history; to conduct and encourage necessary research and development studies for the identification and preservation of his works; and to adopt the sharing, dissemination, and transmission of artistic and scientific knowledge to future generations.
