This book consists of two main parts. The first part, titled "Understanding Mimar Sinan," provides the background for the book, evaluating some known information with subjective approaches, thus preparing the second part. The second part, titled "Mimar Sinan's Spirituality," first emphasizes that Sinan was more in sync with Leonardo da Vinci's plastic perception than his contemporary Michelangelo. Afterwards, it focuses on how he approached the construction logic in plastic arts perception in the context of universal-particular, part-whole, etc. relationships much earlier than Paul Cézanne. As a result of this focus, the idea that Sinan, not Cézanne, should be considered a pioneer in these matters is brought to the fore, and attention is drawn to the need for a renewed focus on accepted values in plastic arts worldwide.
