Product Description
The adventure of architecture, which began with the human need for shelter since ancient times and the spaces they created for these needs, initially started to protect them only from wild nature and animals, but over time, it has changed form and renewed itself repeatedly by developing. These architectural spaces, generally shaped by geographical conditions and climatic factors, and often undergoing radical changes due to political, social, and cultural reasons, have become the subject of research for many disciplines such as history, art history, sociology, and psychology, in addition to architecture itself.
When looking at the representations of the first spaces in history, a very simple language was generally used in the spatial organizations or volumes created. The user actually saw these spaces only as a place to live and therefore only attached importance to the function of the space. In our age, however, it has been understood that architecture is much more than just building a place for shelter; it is an art that responds to the needs of society, reflects their cultures, and encompasses many principles.
