Portraits from the History of the Chamber of Architects: Afife Batur

For my part, I am one of those who prefer the Chamber's political role to be on a professional platform. That is to say, not directly with politics, but in the practice or theory of the profession, or in the problems encountered, I believe that its political aspect should not be overlooked, its political ground should be reviewed, it should be examined, and perhaps an attempt should be made to explain it, and thus the connections and channels of architecture with the social and economic base should be kept constantly open. Because I think that architecture has an aspect that is not detached from society and should be considered as a product of society. I also see this when I read the history of architecture.
