Portraits from the History of the Chamber of Architects: Yaşar Marulyalı

His reflections during his 70-year-long professional life are also like the professional history of a generation. As one reads the interviews, competitions, working conditions in architectural offices, and the changes in ministries over the years come to life before our eyes.

As one of the representatives of the generation of architects, which we sadly see is diminishing, Marulyalı's conversations, which were listened to with pleasure in the Chamber settings, and his accounts that would serve as an example to many colleagues of all generations, were very valuable. We are delighted to present these accounts and more, along with documents and visuals, to younger generations in this book, and we believe it will shed light on another corner of our country's architectural professional environment.
