Product Description
Architectural language emerges from the reflection of various factors, such as cultural, economic, and social influences, in architectural products. Politics, as a superstructure institution affecting all these areas, is one of the most significant inputs in the formation of architectural products. Therefore, it can be said that the built physical environment carries political content, or that architecture is one of the ways in which the ruling power, which directs society, expresses and presents itself to the public. In this context, it can be stated that the influence of politics can be observed in all architectural formations, especially in public buildings, and that architecture and politics together create the built physical environment. This interaction can be demonstrated much more strongly in investment areas supported by the state, particularly in line with its primary function of economic interests. The main problem underlying this study was to reveal the direct and indirect effects of political sanctions on architecture as an important input. In the specific context of our country, examining the relationship between architecture and politics through "tourism accommodation structures," which have constituted one of the important investment areas throughout historical processes, also provides significant clues for the general architectural environment of the Republican Era.
