On Architecture

In the book you are holding, architect Adolf Loos, perhaps one of the most powerful writers on architecture, introduces his profession, which he lived with utmost honesty. The significance of bringing together a large part of Loos's architectural influence can only be understood after reading it.

Based on what has been heard and recorded from Adolf Loos until today, we will no longer say "Ornament is a crime" in our language:
