Fragments of Modernity

Georg Simmel, Siegfried Kracauer, Walter Benjamin... These three important thinkers of the twentieth century approached a specific main theme with similar methods: the experience of modernity in everyday life. All three prefer to start from the fragments, scraps, remnants, in short, the "fragments" of modernity.
