Object - 4 : Bridge

Bridges are technologies of coming together, symbols of hope for many on both sides. While on one side there is a longing for a better life, on the other side there is hope for a more loving, less selfish, and less paranoid society. The bridge embodies the possibility of "dialogue." It acknowledges that communication between two separate generations is possible, even desirable, or at least acceptable. Everything that crosses the bridge, or everything that is not allowed to cross it, is a defining characteristic of the global order at the turn of the millennium.
