Portraits from the History of the Chamber: Aydın Boysan

The Istanbul Metropolitan Branch of the Chamber of Architects continues and publishes oral history studies with valuable colleagues who have made their mark in the history of the architectural profession. The publication of the series, which started in the 2000s, was paused and it was decided to update it again in recent months.

"Portraits from the History of the Chamber of Architects / Aydın Boysan" was the first book published in this new period within the scope of this series. Aydın Boysan, one of the founders of the Chamber of Architects and the Secretary General in its first term board of directors, is a productive senior colleague known for his versatile personality in addition to his professional performance, having authored many publications. A publication has been created by compiling his articles that have appeared in architectural publications at different times.

In the articles and interviews in this book, you will find Aydın Boysan's architectural performance, developments in professional organization, and his observations and the changes experienced in our cities throughout his long life.
