The relationship between landscape and humans has been a source of research for various disciplines from the 1970s to the present. This book discusses the concept of landscape, the European Landscape Convention, the definition and importance of the Landscape Architecture profession, landscape classification, landscape characteristics, and UNESCO natural heritage sites in our country. Examples of landscapes in the world and in Turkey are explained. In the last chapter of the book, the parameters and evaluation methods used in landscape character and visual quality analysis are described. With this book, the perception of landscape has been examined from a broad perspective by providing various examples of existing landscape beauties in the world and in our country.
