Product Description
This book is not a history of art book. The book was not created with the methodology of the art history discipline, and it should be read as a practice of perceiving art within the framework of its "other" dynamics, rather than the "official" chronology of art history. It also serves as a proposal for a new reading practice, one that attempts to look at the shadow areas that Modernism either overlooked or stubbornly ignored, replacing the centuries-old practice of reading and expressing art solely through specific social dynamics and predominantly artistic dynamics. This book is an effort to understand and interpret the course of art with a questioning, even deconstructive and sometimes destructive attitude, stealing roles and using the methodologies of politics, economics, and sociology for areas that are forbidden, neglected, or ignored.
