Cengiz Bektaş, a civil engineer-architect, poet, and writer, addresses Mimar Sinan, one of the greatest figures of our geography, in his first book, "Mimar Sinan Legends," one of his six children's books, published by Sıfırdan Yayınları.

Cengiz Bektaş, who has been working on Mimar Sinan for many years and has received the 2014 International Mimar Sinan Award and the 2016 Mimar Sinan Grand Award as a result of these studies, narrates the Sinan legends that have been circulating in Anatolia for hundreds of years, emphasizing the humane, just, honest, and hardworking side of the great master. Cengiz Bektaş, who uses the simple narrative style he established in the legends when introducing Mimar Sinan, also conveys to our children who Mimar Sinan was, in what period he lived, and the works he created.
