"While seventies architecture sought consciousness in 'historicism' or in 'history' to utilize the architectural types it created, Steven Holl, who was widely discussed back then, constructs his architectural language with intuition. Holl, who states 'Intuition is my source of inspiration,' uses this source not only in his drawings to understand and articulate complex spaces, difficult to perceive like Manhattan, but also in the architecture he produces.
