Sultans Trail

Sultans Trail is our first book offered to those who choose walking as a way of life, and to those who continue to explore, despite all the paths discovered and all the information learned. Other books in the Cultural Routes Library will follow in the footsteps of the Sultans Trail and describe hiking trails in different regions of Turkey.

Covering Greece and Turkey, the Sultans Trail traces a 500-year-old path. Part of the route used as a campaign road by Suleiman the Magnificent, the Sultans Trail today invites travelers from all over the world to rediscover and partake in the region's traditions such as hospitality and respect. This invitation will also mediate relationships and resources that will form the basis of a more prosperous, just, and peaceful world.
