The book "Sustainable Urban Design Criteria - Recommendations for Istanbul" first discusses the concept of urban design and urban design criteria in detail. Subsequently, four study areas identified in Istanbul were analyzed according to these criteria, and comprehensive and detailed urban design recommendations and solutions were proposed for these areas.

This book is intended to be a useful resource and a textbook for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, and Urban Design departments, as well as for those interested in the field. It also aims to be a reference source for those interested in the city of Istanbul, a world brand, and those conducting research on Istanbul.
