Topography

In our country, maps are produced at different scales for various purposes. These maps are used by various professionals in all kinds of projection and application projects based on the earth. For technical personnel outside the mapping sector to be able to carry out the technical principles and application projects related to the production of these maps themselves, they need to know and apply simple measurement techniques related to the subject.

This work has been prepared as a reference for technical personnel working in sectors outside the mapping sector, such as construction, architecture, urban and regional planning, geology, mining, environment, and agriculture, regarding their problems with topography. In addition,
the fundamental topics related to topographic measurements in the mapping-cadastre sector have also been included in this work.
