Ve Sinema (And Cinema) aims to contribute to the periodic examination of Turkish Cinema through texts analyzing Turkish films made after 1990, selected by authors from different disciplines, who adhere to their respective areas of expertise.

The book brings together eleven articles, accompanied by an introduction by Bülent Diken, that examine the relationship of our cinema with painting, theater, music, literature, architecture, photography, philosophy, psychoanalysis, sociology, history, and contemporary arts. These analyses are predominantly based on recent examples such as "Waiting for Heaven," "Kosmos," "Vizontele Tuuba," "Underground," "Yusuf Trilogy," "Mud," "Distant," "Jealousy," "Istanbul Under My Wings," and "The Game," thereby offering a fertile ground for discussion in the field.
