Product Description
The climate is changing, the world is warming, and increasing energy demand is causing more carbon emissions. To slow this trend, policies are being developed that encourage the use of diesel engines, strengthen building insulation, and promote greater utilization of green energy sources such as solar and wind. However, according to Sinn, current policies to reduce global warming are ineffective. Some policies, such as encouraging biofuel use, are outright harmful. This is where the "Green Paradox" emerges: according to Sinn, the expectation that fossil-derived energy consumption will decrease actually accelerates climate change. Sinn proposes a provocative solution to this paradox.
