YKKS An Opening to the City tells the stories behind the design conception and reconstruction process of the Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts (YKKS) building. It takes the form of a compilation of non-linear accounts about the significant elements or incidents that constituted the new architecture of the building. Besides presenting the specific story of Galatasaray building, the book reflects on Yapı Kredi Bank’s influence in the fields of culture and arts since the 1950s and the role of TEGET Architectural Office in shaping the final form of YKKS.
