High-Rise Buildings

The main theme of this book and what makes it unique compared to other publications on the subject is the information about Istanbul's skyscrapers provided in Chapter 5. As a result of the research project, sufficient information and documentation were collected for the high-rise buildings discussed, though not to the same extent for every structure. Since it is impossible to publish all the information we have due to space and volume constraints, summarized information is provided for each building in a specific order. You will find information on 27 skyscrapers, listed by height. As the project was completed in 2008, high-rise buildings constructed in Istanbul after this date are not included in this book.

When the subject is high-rise buildings, we wanted to present both the characteristics that distinguish them from others and the fundamental information in this field to the reader in this work.
